Dear North Carolina Friends & Partners In Education, Welcome! Race to the Top is a federal grant program that rewards states for educational innovation. In North Carolina we have a great history of just that and I’m confident that together we will be successful in bringing substantial amounts of funding to North Carolina. We are already working on higher standards, better curriculum and new and meaningful assessments. But I also want your input.
